About Dave Green Reptiles

Thank you for visiting my website. I am a breeder of ball python color and pattern morphs located in Phoenix, Arizona. Unless stated otherwise, all of the hatchlings offered on this website were produced by me. I do this full time which means I am able to maintain and monitor my animals on a daily basis. Maintaining a small collection allows me to be hands on with every animal. This level of attention lets me focus my efforts on not only producing high quality animals, but maintaining great customer service.

As far back as I can remember I had an interest in animals and a fascination with reptiles. Throughout my life I’ve kept a large assortment of reptiles and began breeding king and corn snakes in the late 1980s, and Burmese pythons in the early 1990s.

The concept of Dave Green Reptiles began in 2005. Tired of the corporate environment I decided to pursue a different way to make a living. I wanted something that I had an interest in and could enjoy every day. I talked with several reptile breeders that I got to know over the years and decided to make my lifelong interest a new business. I soon visited with an old friend, Steve Roussis of Roussis Reptiles and purchased a small group of ball pythons. I then began acquiring one snake after another, always striving for the best quality.

After receiving a paycheck my entire life I made the difficult decision to venture out on my own. As tough as it was, I feel that it was one of the best decisions that I’ve ever made. In addition, I’ve always wanted to live in Arizona after visiting there as a teenager. In 2007 I quit my corporate job and moved to Phoenix. The following year I started attending reptile expos and selling some of the hatchlings that I produced. This business has exceeded my expectations and I continue to grow the collection in order to offer a variety of quality animals to my customers.

I feel very fortunate to turn a hobby and lifelong interest into a business. I would also like to thank my wife Jen who motivated me to move to Arizona and helped make this dream a reality.
